The Sam4s ER-945 is a high specification retail cash register for busy shops, with both receipt printer and journal printer. It is very popular with supermarkets and busy convenience stores due to its solid build, large number of department keys and high barcode capacity. The ER-945 has a modern slimline design, a full-size integrated cash drawer and a receipt printer to print customer receipts on request and a journal printer to record all till activity.
HIGH QUALITY BARCODE SCANNER
The included XL-3620S barcode scanner is a modern design CMOS Imaging scanner. It can scan barcodes quickly and easily from physical items as well as digital screens. It can be operated handsfree within the included stand, or it can be set to operate by hand with its trigger button.
Stock control features are included, so you may book in initial stock and new deliveries, the system will deduct stock automatically as items are scanned and sold, and you can generate reports to show current stock levels. You can also register adjustments / wastage. Setting 'minimum stock level' helps you with re-ordering.
Optional magstripe reader or iKey reader for staff login available.

With the optional PC Software which runs on a Windows PC or Laptop, you can program various settings, PLU's / prices on the till using an RS232 Data Cable. The cable is provided with the software purchase. Your computer with require a 9-pin RS232 Serial Port (otherwise you will need to use a compatible USB-Serial adapter).
We can optionally provide half-day setup and training at your premises. See option/price above. Travel expenses will additionally be payable outside the NW London area.

OPTIONAL PROGRAMMING SERVICE
With our Programming Service we can pre-configure the till before despatching it to you, so it will arrive ready to use and for you to load on your barcodes. With Standard Programming, we can:-
* Pre-map the memory for the maximum 10,000 barcodes
* Configure the till to operate with the barcode scanner
* Set the till's current date & time
* Set the receipt header with your store name/address details
* Set the receipt footer with your message, vat number etc.
* Program and key label upto 12 Department keys
With the Advanced service, we can also set up multiple tax rates and clerks, additional departments and other programming and function key requirements.
If you choose the Programming Service with your order, we will email you a form to complete and return with the required details.
Please note: If you decline the Programming Service we will not be able to later do programming remotely by telephone. You will need to return the machine to us at your cost, in addition to the programming fee, and pay return shipping charge. Our help desk service is to assist with specific queries setting up and using the till, but we cannot go through entire programming sequences over the phone.
